The Architectural Team: Zanner Architecture

Independent work in a team forms a successful basis for us as architects and the demanding tasks we tackle daily. When we talk about our team, we mean: firstly, all the members of a team share a high degree of regular interaction with one another. Secondly, they share a common objective, and thirdly, and probably most importantly, the thing that distinguishes a team from a group - team spirit. A shared sense of belonging or team spirit arises from the other two aspects, but it isn’t an inevitable result.

From their first moment with us, we give our employees the chance to assume responsibility for their architectural work. At the same time, we provide support when needed and in this way each of us gradually develops all our abilities. Motivation, dedication and a willingness to learn develop automatically, as mutual trust increases and we feel the security of deserving a great job with numerous opportunities for personal development in the future.

We also strengthen the trust of our team since the interests of each of us are important and we take them into account as much as possible. For instance, we currently have several part-time roles, which offer the flexibility the employees need to pursue other activities. In return we expect our staff to focus and be extremely accurate at work, in order to maintain a healthy business that can offer secure jobs.

We are looking forward to the future and we also believe in having fun at work as we find it can contribute to the success of many designs or planning activities.

We undertake complete building projects and place special importance on customer satisfaction, precision and scrupulousness, e.g. when producing measurements that form the basis of calculations or compiling the planning documents. Precise cost calculation is also important to us, and this is incorporated in the planning documents drawing on our experience of past and current projects. Our initial estimate of the foreseeable costs is always cautious, in order to avoid presenting our clients with massive adjustments in the calculations.
